Happy Earth Day Giveaway!

Hello friends....I have been away for awhile and not by choice, just a busy time of year for our family.  Its Earth Day and we have had a wonderful rain and so all the flowers, grass and trees are so pretty and alive.  First of all, I have been busy with my garden, getting some veggies planted, and this weekend is my 16 year old daughter's first prom...she is so excited and so am I....I also turned another year older on the 17th and I thank God each and every day for giving me good health and lots of wonderful days with family and friends.  Its such a great time of year here in Nebraska...lots to be thankful for with the hard winter we had.  I am so excited to get outside and work in the dirt with my flowers and try some new things.  I also am having a spring giveaway that includes a spring arrangement made by me along with a painted primitive wood bowl refurbished also by me.  Here are the simple rules to enter: 1. I am finally back!!

 Hello and I am so glad to have my computer up and running again, a person doesn't think that we depend on it too much, but we do.  I hope that all of you had a wonderful Easter!  It was a gorgeous day with family.  In an earlier post of mine I talked about another giveaway, well with this computer issue, I kinda let all that go, so I promise to have a "Spring Giveaway" announcement by the weekend.  I love to see all of your "springy" posts that you all are talking about, we all need a spring in our step and I am so ready.  I did get my lettuce and onions planted on April 1st, that is always a good feeling.  Well I need to get some other things done, so until next time!

Happy 1st day of Spring!

Hello my blogging friends….to think that today is the first day of SPRING!!!  We have been waiting for this season to come and now it is here…we had a light snowfall yesterday in Nebraska, but tomorrow it is to be in the50’s with sunshine.  I don’t have alot planned for the weekend, other than spending time with my family and enjoying the fact that we are all getting over our colds.  I hope to have my next giveaway posted by Monday, you are going to love it!  I best get scooting as I have plenty to do and hope that you all have a joyous weekend!  I leave you with a bouquet of flowers that remind us of spring!

Happy St. Patty’s Day!

Good morning and Happy St. Patty’s Day….With the luck of the Irish, I hope you all find your  pot of gold at the end of a rainbow!  Today is a day in the craftroom….so many ideas and I am working on my next giveaway, it will be a good one and I will post it soon.  Yesterday was a real teaser for spring, the sun came out and the birds were chirping, its amazing how 45 degrees with sun can brighten anyones day!  I am  reading Beth Moore’s new book called “So Long Insecurities”  I can’t put it down, she is an amazing woman and I would recommend this book to any woman…its amazing how you feel she is speaking to you…God works in so many ways!  I better go for now, I have kids to see off to school and my glue gun is calling me.  Have a great day!

Good Morning my friends~

I hope that you all are doing well, its been a long, cold week with NO sunshine.  The forecast looks favorable this coming week, which we all need for our spirits.  I have spent some time in the craft room, such ideas that come out and are waiting me to put them in place.  I am working on another giveaway, just need to finalize it and then I will post it soon….I better get back into my room and get the “creative” fever going.  Hope that you all have a wonderful weekend and let spring come!
