A New Year is Upon us..

I will keep this short and sweet.....2009 has been a wonderful year, but I have this feeling that 2010 is going to be even better. My family will be home playing games and eating munchies, and then on New Year's Day we will be watching football bowl games. It is always fun to look back at what this year has brought to us, and some of our goals that we can work on for the new upcoming year. I hope that each one of you will do the same.

Good Morning~
Today is a reflection on our joyous day that we had yesterday. My kids received most of the things that they asked for along with a few things that were surprises. It is time to get out my "snowmen", which is actually more that all of my Christmas things. I will be posting pictures of some of the frosty little guys once I get my house back in order. I hope that all of you had a wonderful Christmas day with your families. This wintery weather sure made it feel more like a Winter Wonderland. Until we meet again.

Christmas is Near

~Christmas Blessings~
What a gorgeous snow that we got today, except for the ice....I am so blessed with the family that I have. My kids are so excited for the BIG day. I have been wrapping the majority of the day along with Christmas tunes in the background. My plans for Christmas Eve day is to watch "White Christmas" and do a little baking, and then get ready for Christmas Eve mass. I hope that the weather is not too bad for families that want to travel. I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and enjoy making lots of family memories.

~Christmas is near~

Greetings, I have not posted anything for a few days.
What a hectic week it has been, between kids Christmas concerts,
wrapping presents, holiday baking, shopping, wrapping some more
and going to Christmas parties...wow I am beat.
I am not liking the forecast for the middle of the week...SNOW and WIND.
that will not make good traveling conditions.
I hope that where ever you and your families travel to, that it is a
safe trip and many blessings and great memories.
Till then.

Christmas is coming....

Its been a busy weekend...I spent 7 hours shopping by myself yesterday,
it was actually a great time...browsing is so nice when you have NO
time frame. I even threw in a little time for antique shopping, and will
post a picture of a mirror and an old window that I added a wreath to it.
I believe that most of my list got crossed off and now its time for the fun
part...wrapping the presents.
It looks like the weather is going to be wintery again for Monday, and then
get warmer by the middle of the week. I love this time of year and want to
make the most of our time together...I had a tough week this past week, my
dad of 82 had a pacemaker put in and is doing so good, he is so healthy otherwise.
Am so grateful for the doctor that did the surgery, such a blessing for our
medical people.
I close tonight with lots of holiday thoughts and hope that each of you are
enjoying this time of year as it goes by so quickly...until next time.

Winter Wonderland

Well I will keep this short and sweet....
It was a winter wonderland today and the kids
and I had alot of fun being in the house...
its amazing the things that you can find to do
when you are forced to be in....I got most of
my Christmas cards done and will be mailing them
out soon.
I hope all of you stay warm and bundled up in these
days that are so cold. They made hot cocoa for a reason.

"Snow Day"

Greetings from our snow farmstead~
As I look outside my snowy window I count
my many blessings. Its so nice to let the kids
sleep in and I can get some other jobs done around the house.
They are very excited to have a "snow Day" and it will be
nice to be inside drinking hot cocoa and finishing my Christmas
cards. I took some winter pics last night of the new blanket
of snow...GORGEOUS!
I will leave you with this...
Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow..

Good Morning~
Well what can I say....had a really nice time
at my last craft show of the season..The crowd was
so nice and lots of shoppers. Now, the forecast has
snow in it, so that means that it will feel like
Christmas even more than it already does. I am working
on our family Christmas letter today, and just relaxing
after a big weekend.
It was sad to see our Huskers lose last night, but in reality
we know who played the best game. Looking forward
to watching Nebraska play in a bowl game.
Hope that your family has a blessed Sunday.

to shop. I love this time of year and can't wait
to see some of my good friends tomorrow, I hope they
find lots of goodies.
Well I better get going and finish the last of the
touches on my things and get my van loaded to the brim.
I will post pictures over the weekend of my booth and

Chilly Morning~

Good Morning ladies~
I am on my downhill stretch with my crafts for
the soon to be craft show this Saturday in Blue Hill, Ne.
I look so forward to this event...lots of Christmas feeling
in the air. It has been a tough week, my little 8 year old
son, Tanner, has had the stomach flu for 3 days now...he is
feeling better, but needs the rest and to gain his appetitie
back.
I am so looking forward to what this month brings, I have some
Christmas shopping completed but have lots left. I hope
that all of you are doing well and keep the Holiday season
in your heart.

Advent Begins

Good Morning Friends~
It is a joyous season that we are in.
Advent....what a special time. In our home
we have an advent quilt that starts Dec. 1st
and goes to Dec. 25th. With each day has a pocket
and with my 3 children each one has their "special"
day that is theirs. So, on their day they will find
a treat of some kind in there for them only. They
can not wait till its their day.
I have lots of crafts in the making with my last show
of the year being this Sat. the 5th. I will post more
pictures as I continue to create more.
I hope that each one of you had a Thankful Thanksgiving.
Blessings~
