Sorry I have been away!

Hello I have stepped away from posting lately...we have had a couple of very busy weeks.  Our county fair is over and my neice's wedding was so nice!  Since then I have had a job opportunity that I am pursuing and have lots of paper work to do to get it out in the mail...I will take any prayers that I can get!  Today is it so HOT and HUMID here...my flowers and garden are needing lots of water and TLC....but I love looking out at them when I wake up each morning, they are so bright and vibrant....a kick start to my day along with yummy tomatoes and cucumbers for lunch! I hope you are all having a good summer, to think that August is knocking at our door and school is around the corner for my kids.  With that I am inviting you to visit my blog on August 1st as I am having a giveaway that I think you will enjoy!  Until then stay cool and enjoy the dog days of summer.

The Olde County Fair

Hello friends...its been a few days since I have posted anything....its been a week of fun for our family, its our county fair and my girls did a great job in all their entries.....and then on top of that we have a wedding in Columbia MO on Saturday for a neice of mine.... we are leaving tomorrow...so looking forward to this time with family.  Its been a HOT week and so much humidity.  We are leaving for the bbq and rodeo this evening, that is always a lot of fun.  I hope that what ever your plans are this weekend that you have an enjoyable time where ever you are.   I hope to have another giveaway the first of August...so keep checking my blog for an inspiring surprise.

Happy Wednesday!

Hello on this gorgeous morning in Nebraska~  We have had such a busy month already and our county fair is starting next week...it scares me to think that summer is half over and the kiddos will be heading back to school next month!  I am so excited to announce that I picked my first cucumbers on the 4th of July...that is a first that I can remember...its the "simple" things in life that makes us happy right?!!!  I plan on having another giveaway but will wait till our fairs are over, so plan on visiting me on the first of August to see what is in store....On this post I would love to hear from you on what makes your summer memorable ....as we get so caught up in all the running we try to make time for the little things and for me its seeing my kids laughing together and loving each other for who they are!  I hope each of you have a great day...hope to hear from you soon!

Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th everyone!   I hope that you are spending time with family and friends...we had a full weekend with a neice's wedding yesterday...such a gorgeous day and so today we are all tired and yet have plans to go watch fireworks tonight!
I can't believe that the 4th is already here....we know that it means summer is half over, and yet we have lots of summer plans to be made....
I hope that all of you have a great holiday and to stop and remember what this day means to us! 
I know that our family is very thankful for all the military men and woman and what they do for us and our freedom.....
