Happy Thanksgiving!

I want to wish all my blogging friends a very Happy Thanksgiving!  We are traveling to my sister in laws for the day, we are so blessed to have such gorgeous weather and everyone in our house is healthy.   I hope that whatever you are doing with this "thankful" holiday that you take time like we all should and count the many blessings we do have each and every day!  We will be decorating our home for Christmas on Friday, so that will take a chunk of my weekend...gotta love that part of it!

Craft show weekend

Hi Peeps....
Hope this Friday finds you happy and getting geared up for the holidays that are around the corner.  I am getting excited for an upcoming craft show that is this Sunday, my sister and I are doing it together in Geneva Ne.  I love setting up and tweaking each time space that I get at these shows.  I have so many neat snowmen, wreaths, primitive holiday decor, old windows, and some great inexpensive Christmas gifts.  I will post pictures of my booth after Sunday.  
Our family is traveling to my sister in laws house for Thanksgiving Day. It is hard to believe that it is rolling in like a streak of lightening.  Didn't summer just end and school start?

I'M BACK!

Good morning  Peeps~  I know I know its shocking to see me blogging, but I have lots of reasons that kept me from doing so.  I am so excited to say that all my craft shows have been a success!  This time of year is such a pretty time...I love the crisp air, colorful trees, pumpkins, football and the fact that my husband is done with a successful harvest! This is such a great feeling!   If anyone knows of someone that makes primitive snowman bowl fillers I would be interested in an assortment, I have several craft projects that would need some so please pass the word!

Words for Wednesday....

Good Morning Peeps, 
I have an official day off and it feels awesome!  I have my glue gun plugged in, Autumn Sunset candle burning and a coffee in hand.  I have several craft shows in the near future so I need to make my time count...but I had to take time to post on my blog.....priorities first RIGHT?..lol.
This Saturday 2 of my very dear friends and I are venturing to Hillsboro KS to a very LARGE Fall craft show...this is the craft show of all craft shows.  There are over 350 vendors on the streets of Hillsboro and I get so many awesome ideas and a start to my Christmas shopping too.  We have a blast each time we go and we are already talking about our plans for next years trip.  The forecast looks so great to go on this venture and that makes it even better.  It is nice and cool here today in Nebraska, cloudy and 60's for high temps, my kind of crafting and baking weather.
So with that I better get back to what I took this day off for....
I hope whatever you are doing with your day you make the most of it...

Hello Blogging Friends~
I feel like I have to introduce myself again since it has been so long since I have posted anything.  My summer has been different than most in the past.  Having a full time job since January and then all the kids summer activities have kept me extremely busy!   I have not forgotten any of you and hope that you are keeping busy with what ever makes your heart content.  I love this season that is upon us.  I love all the gorgeous autumn colors and the cool crispness in the air.  It also means that my crafting is going to pick up and get me in the mood for future craft shows.  As the next few weeks come into play I will be posting pictures of my seasonal crafts and hope that it inspires you to get out your autumn decor and have fun!  
Something else that is exciting in our home is that we have a SENIOR...I am still in shock that this time is here and yet Sammy is having a great start to her special year....we are waiting for her senior pictures to get back to us....they turned out better that I ever expected and yet YES I knew they would be awesome!....Again, I have missed you all and hope to get back in touch with you...please post a comment with what fall things you are doing and I hope that you are having a wonderful weekend as this is out last weekend in August, so here we go again by flipping the calender to a wonderful month of September.

Where has the summer gone?

A Walk in my Garden

I hope you are all doing well and staying cool....this post is going to be short and simple.  Our county fair is soon upon our family so my time is limited.  I want to share some of my yard and flower garden pictures of this summer.  We have been blessed with some wonderful rains, so everything is still green and growing well.  I will keep you all posted on how our "fair" week is going.  I love summer for this special week.  I hope you enjoy my pictures and that it makes you feel like we are together as you look at them...I know I love my yard and am thankful for all the pretty colors!
