Words for Wednesday....

Good Morning Peeps, 
I have an official day off and it feels awesome!  I have my glue gun plugged in, Autumn Sunset candle burning and a coffee in hand.  I have several craft shows in the near future so I need to make my time count...but I had to take time to post on my blog.....priorities first RIGHT?..lol.
This Saturday 2 of my very dear friends and I are venturing to Hillsboro KS to a very LARGE Fall craft show...this is the craft show of all craft shows.  There are over 350 vendors on the streets of Hillsboro and I get so many awesome ideas and a start to my Christmas shopping too.  We have a blast each time we go and we are already talking about our plans for next years trip.  The forecast looks so great to go on this venture and that makes it even better.  It is nice and cool here today in Nebraska, cloudy and 60's for high temps, my kind of crafting and baking weather.
So with that I better get back to what I took this day off for....

Hello Blogging Friends~
I feel like I have to introduce myself again since it has been so long since I have posted anything.  My summer has been different than most in the past.  Having a full time job since January and then all the kids summer activities have kept me extremely busy!   I have not forgotten any of you and hope that you are keeping busy with what ever makes your heart content.  I love this season that is upon us.  I love all the gorgeous autumn colors and the cool crispness in the air.  It also means that my crafting is going to pick up and get me in the mood for future craft shows.  As the next few weeks come into play I will be posting pictures of my seasonal crafts and hope that it inspires you to get out your autumn decor and have fun!  
Something else that is exciting in our home is that we have a SENIOR...I am still in shock that this time is here and yet Sammy is having a great start to her special year....we are waiting for her senior pictures to get back to us....they turned out better that I ever expected and yet YES I knew they would be awesome!....Again, I have missed you all and hope to get back in touch with you...please post a comment with what fall things you are doing and I hope that you are having a wonderful weekend as this is out last weekend in August, so here we go again by flipping the calender to a wonderful month of September.

Where has the summer gone?

A Walk in my Garden

I hope you are all doing well and staying cool....this post is going to be short and simple.  Our county fair is soon upon our family so my time is limited.  I want to share some of my yard and flower garden pictures of this summer.  We have been blessed with some wonderful rains, so everything is still green and growing well.  I will keep you all posted on how our "fair" week is going.  I love summer for this special week.  I hope you enjoy my pictures and that it makes you feel like we are together as you look at them...I know I love my yard and am thankful for all the pretty colors!

Happy 4th of July!

Good Morning Peeps & Happy 4th of July.  I love this holiday for the meer fact that we have family time and enjoy the outdoors, fireworks, great food, spending time together and most of all reflect on what this day means to us!  We have plans to bar-b-que out and and then go to our town parade and fireworks display.  I love to see all the yards lined with flags and alot of folks wearing their patriotic colors.  I hope whatever you do today please be safe and enjoy your loved ones and friends.

Join in the my new "Topic of the Week"

Happy Flag Day Peeps~  Its been a few weeks since I blogged.  Summer has kept me busy with working through this month and all the activities with my kiddos.  I love this time of year though.  No one is sick and the kids keep busy at home.  Our county fair is 1 month away and so that keeps the kids busy with getting their projects done.  I am going to have a summer giveaway starting next week..I will post pictures of what it will be by this weekend. I am also going to start something fun with my blog....and I am hoping you will join in.  I want to have a "Topic of the Week."  With that I will have a topic that I want your opinion on and it will be light hearted and exciting to see who reads my blog and actually posts a comment back to me.  So for the first time of this the "Topic" is going to be "Summer Time."  I want you to share what Summer Time means to you and your family.  I am anxious to read what all of you do with this great time of the year.  I hope you all have a fabulous day!

Happy Memorial Weekend!

Good Morning friends~
Can you believe it is Memorial Day weekend already?  Where has May gone?  Its always a good time to reflect on our loved ones and to pay tribute to the men and women who fight everyday for our freedom!  We are hanging around the house today...enjoying no where to go...isn't that funny that we appreciate those simple things!  I am having a garage sale with a friend of mine in 2 weeks so I actually have plenty to do to get ready for that.  So what are your plans for this long weekend?  Its starting to rain here, which we have had so much rain in the past couple weeks that we need to dry out and have warm sunny days!
I hope whatever you are doing you are spending it with loved ones and enjoying the "family" time.
